Kings Daughters - 'Dancing In The Rain' Single Review

The newest single from trio 'Kings Daughters' is entitled Dancing In The Rain and carries slightly melancholic tones despite it sounding like an uplifting track. Talia Dean has such a powerful voice and it really gives this pop group something else that the others don't have; it gives them an edge and a different approach to the whole music industry. Together with world-famous 'Queen' guitarist Brian May and Alan Glass, this new track sounds entirely different from their first, Get Up.
I don't even know if I can describe it. This song, Dancing In The Rain, seems so personal and intimate, as if it is truly a snapshot into the band's personal life, and more specifically the songwriter. It seems to be something so personal that it doesn't belong in the outside world, and yet I think that is why it will do well - perhaps even better than their debut single, which peaked at #20 on the iTunes music chart in the UK on 15th April, the same day as its release.
This band is so young, and yet all three members; vocalist Talia Dean, drummer Vicky O'Neon and guitarist Isabel Lysell, are talented musicians. Lysell has played with Kate Nash, and supported 'JLS' and 'Jessie J'. Similarly, O'Neon has played with Pharrell Williams and 'Clean Bandit'. Talia Dean was on the X Factor in 2017.
The three of them are really a very talented group of musicians, and all very inspiring with such wonderful personal stories to tell. I can't wait to see more of their music in the outside world, because they're certainly special, and something that doesn't come around everyday.
